When Kathy saw Drake's puppy picture she knew she had to have him!  She felt it was destiny.  She got him when he was 5 months old and he was dream come true.  He was the perfect dog for her.  He finished at 17 months old with 3 majors.  The final major in tough competition in Plum Creek Colorado.  He is the consummate show dog.  He has the perfect disposition to be in the ring.  Fellow exhibitors often commented on his non-stop tail wagging.  Terri would often drop his lead and Drake would never take his eyes off her.  He was a dream to show!  He has a temperament to die for and has passed this along to his kids (Tank and Scandal).  Our favorite thing about Drake is his head, which is a true symphony of triangles.  He was the BOS at the first LSAC specialty and has won an Award of Merit.  He is retired from the ring, but we show him sometimes in Veterans at our local specialty and some shows; he really misses the action!  He's a multiple BOB and a group placing akita.  Thanks to Carol Foti and Dale Carpenter for this dream boy.  He's available to stud for approved bitches.
